500 Club Fundraising
The Group Executive Committee of the 25th Camberwell (1st Dulwich College) Scout Group has responsibility for ensuring the effective provision of Scouting activities, operating in partnership with our sponsor Dulwich College.
The “500 Club” has been established to raise additional funds to support and improve the operation of the 25th Camberwell (1st Dulwich College) Scout Group.
Whilst the annual subscription covers the basic running costs of Troop meetings etc, it does not cover the full replacement costs of all the equipment we use on our weekends and camps.
The Group has recently incurred significant expenditure on our new headquarters at the Trevor Bailey Sports Centre, one of a number of initiatives on the Group Development plan for which the Group Executive's fund raising plan supports. The fund raising programme aims to increase the Group's funds to continue to support Scouting at Dulwich
The “500 Club” contributes significant funding to support the development plan, whilst for just £60 a year (£5 a month) club members get twelve chances of winning prizes of up to £250.
